18th Birthday antics..

So as you guys can see I had an amazing time last night despite being sick. However a birthday without you being sick especially a big birthday isn't really a birthday now is it. I loved seeing all of my beautiful family and friends some of them who I haven't seen in quite a long time. We all went to a Mexican and had delicious food and just spent time chatting and having a great time. Thank you to all of you who said "Happy Birthday" to me I really appreciate it.

It's My 18th Birthday!

So today is my 18th birthday I'm going to be spending it eating as much cake as possible as I love cake!! I'm also going to a Mexican restaurant later with all my friends and family. I can't wait to see some of my friends and family as I haven't seen them in ages. It's going to be a really fantastic evening as I've even had a special cake made for me. I will be posting a blog post soon after with pictures of my day and night. You should also keep a watch out as I'm going to be uploading a video of the presents that I got given.

Blogs I've been loving recently #1

In today's post I'm going to be sharing with you 5 blogs that I have been recently loving and that I follow here on blogger. I follow around 200-250 blogs here on blogger so there's plenty of new blogs to share with you guys. I hope you like the first installment of this series and keep a watch out for future posts like this.

I've been following Beth ever since I started blogging I found her blog through a friend and I'm so pleased I did. Beth blogs about the same subjects that I blog about such as beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I really enjoy reading her blog as she really puts a lot of effort and time into her posts. I also like the way that she captures her images of products as they're often original and unique.

I love watching Suzie's YouTube videos as well as reading her blog. This is because first of all she's naturally beautiful and she creates lovely blog posts which I love reading. I love her eye for detail as her photography skills are pretty good. Apart from her beauty posts and video Suzie also does weekly vlogs which are great to watch when you're having a rough day.

Next up is Corrie who is your typical girly girl she has amazing long brown hair and produces some amazing material on her blog. I've watched her blog and youtube channel grow and grow over these past few months and she's quite an inspirational person for me. I'd love to be as successful as her in the future and I just can't wait to see what Corrie produces in the future.

I honestly can't wait for Celine's new blog posts as I read each and everyone. I really like it when she changes the design of her blog as it often gives me inspiration for my own blog design. I like how her blog has lots of variety such as beauty, fashion and lifestyle posts. I love how friendly Celine comes across in her posts and videos.

Maddy who writes UNSTITCHEDD is only 15 but very talented she always makes sure that her blog posts are of a high standard. She has done so well for herself considering how young she is and I can see she will be even more successful in the future. Her blog design is simple but effective as it focuses you attention to her posts instead of the design.

I dyed my hair....RED

So as you can probably tell from the title of this blog post I've decided to change it up a bit by dying the ends of my hair. I love how it turned out considering it was my first time having my hair dyed. I chose red because it's subtle for my hair colour I didn't want it to be too bright but I also didn't want it to go unnoticed. I wanted to just dye the ends because I don't think I'm that ready to dye the whole of my hair just yet.

I also got my eyebrows done and got party lashes stuck onto my real lashes to make them longer. This whole make-over was a birthday present by a family friend who runs a hairdressers. I am so grateful that my mums friend offered to do all of these things. As a girl you love to be pampered once in a while if not all the time recently I've been so busy with school work that I haven't had any time to pamper myself. So having this all done to me over a weekend is pretty nice and I really enjoyed it.

Life, Blog & YouTube Updates

Today I thought that I would update you guys on a few updates this May. I love doing these posts because this whole blog thing is a two way thing. Updating you guys is an important thing that I believe in this is because I don't want you guys to think that I make decisions without having notified you. For example you guys may think that I've closed my blog down because I haven't posted in a while.

Exams are over
So I finished my last exam last Wednesday which is such a relief as I can now focus on other aspects of my life such as my coursework and my blog. I'm really pleased with how my exams went as I worked really hard this year.

Blog Updates
I can start to go back to my old posting schedule which is 5 days a week because my exams are now finished. So expect new posts and new ideas because I want introduce new series. I would also love to get a new design made so if you know anybody who creates design for blogs then please let me know.

YouTube Updates
I'm defiantly going to be posting more videos over the next few months. I would appreciate it if you would leave me a comment with suggestions on what you would like to see more of. First of all I'm going to be doing a few videos surrounding my birthday ideas such as a birthday present haul etc...I'm hoping to post videos twice a week as I have more time to film and edit.

CK Summer & Adore by Next First Impressions

Today I'm going to be sharing with you two of my newest perfumes. The first one from Next I picked up myself as I was already purchasing some other things in Next for a friends birthday. However the second one was given to me by my dad as a gift as he recently went on holiday. I love perfumes and I'm beginning to have quite a collection I don't really use them much as I like to wear them on the weekends and on special occasions. I normally just use body sprays during the week because they're just as good.

Next Adore Eau De Toilette £10
First of all I adore the bottle that this perfume comes in it screams out glamour and sophistication. This perfume has a floral & golden amber scent which is perfect for a date or just a day out with your friends. So far I haven't even got through 1/3 of the bottle which I'm pleased with as I love the scent and I could wear it all day every day. I would defiantly re-purchase this again as it's an all round amazing perfume for only £10!!

Calvin Klein One Summer £25.50 was £32
Secondly this perfume that was given to me by my dad is a little stronger than the Next one. I really like it also and I can't wait until I have more time to wear it as at the moment I'm not really going out on the weekends as much due to coursework. This perfume has a mixture of colorful citrus scents along with other summer scents such as exotic tequila and hydrating coconut water. I tend not to spray as much of this on me as other perfumes as it can sometimes be overwhelming and too strong.

At this moment in time I would defiantly re-purchase both of these products again as they're both reasonably priced and good quality products. However my decision may change over time depending on what I like at the time. I can't wait to use these more as I feel I haven't had a chance to wear them as much as I could have these past few weeks.

For the #2014bloggerchallenge you have to write a blog post twice a month which will be about different topics. all the posts will go live during the 1st and 3rd weeks of each month. The topics are there to give you new ideas and encourage you to write about things you wouldn't normally write about.

Best Day of My Life - American Authors
Timber - Pitbull ft Ke$ha
Wake Me Up - Avicii
Money On My Mind - Sam Smith
XO - Beyoncé
Dark Horse - Katy Perry ft Juicy J
Counting Stars - One Republic

Rather Be - Clean Bandit ft Jess Glynne
I Will Never Let You Down - Rita Ora
Calling All Hearts - DJ Cassidy ft Robin Thicke & Jessie J
She Looks So Perfect - 5 Seconds Of Summer
I Got You - Duke Dumont ft Jax Jones

Everybody's Got Somebody But Me - Hunter Hayes ft Jason Mraz

First of all non of these songs are in order as I like them all way too much and they've probably been on reply about 100 times each. I love discovering new songs and I often listen to the Hit 40 UK show on KISS Radio on Sundays to see if there are any new songs out. I'd love to know some of your favorite songs this May please leave a comment down below if you would like to share any...

Review | Impulse Body Spray

For today's post I'm going to be reviewing three of Impulse's body sprays. I've always liked these particular body sprays as they're easy to transport around with you as they can just be popped into your bag. I also like the design of them as each one has a different design which is related to the name of the spray. However I think they have re-designed all of the bottles to make them look similar to one and another.

Impulse Hint Of Musk Body Spray £0.98 was £1.99
First of all this body spray is "a blend of lime, jasmine & wood scents" when you first spray it come across as very overpowering. I don't particularly like this one as it reminds me of something that a person much older than me would use. Sometimes when I do use it and accidentally spray way too much I begin to cough because it's a strong scent. I don't think I would purchase this one again as the smell isn't to my taste and it's probably the least favourite of mine.

Impulse City Collection New York
Secondly this body spay was part of a collection I was meaning to pick up the whole collection but I just haven't had a chance to pick up any of the others. In this spray is "a blend of apple, red fruit and jasmine notes" I really like this spray and I actually have two of them. It's such a lovely smell which would be great to use for just about any occasion.

Impulse True Love Body Spray £0.98 was £1.99
Last of all is this true love spray which is "a blend of freesias, muguet and amber notes". I think out of all three this is defiantly my favourite one I love how sweet the smell is. I would defiantly wear this on a date or a special day. It's one of those scents that will make people ask "what are you wearing?". My one is almost empty which is kind of sad but at least it gives me a reason to purchase another one.

Overall I love the Impulse body sprays I would like to try some of the other scents. They're perfect to use instead of a perfume as they're easier to carry around and they can be more effective. I also love how reasonably priced they are which means you can pick up a couple at a time. I would defiantly recommend these to younger girls as they're more suitable for them but nowadays I find that many of my friends still use them.

18th Birthday Wishlist

If you read my last post then you will know that my birthday is coming up it's on the 28th of May which is only a few weeks away. I thought that I would share with you guys  what I would like for my birthday this year especially as it's a special one. As you can probably see most of the items that I would like are more on the lifestyle side this is because at the moment I'm re-decorating my room and I would love to purchase some of these things to add to it.

If you have Tumblr you will understand where I'm coming from if not then I'll explain. During the summer months on Tumblr which is basically all year round I often see photos of beautiful girls wearing denim shorts and clean white converse. Now because these girls are usually tanned they really go well with the whole outfit. I defiantly want to get these as my red ones that I own now need time off because they have been worn to death. I love how converse are so versatile you can wear them with almost anything even dresses if you're that type of girl which I am.

I actually don't want to purchase this tray for the purpose that it has been made I'd love to use it as my perfume tray instead of jewellery as I don't own or use jewellery much. I think that this tray with perfumes on it would look great but it would also be brilliant as a backdrop for some of my blog posts.

I love lighting a candle and I'm also very clumsy which could result in me knocking a candle over by accident. By getting this lantern I am able to light a candle without it being very dangerous because this lantern is too big to miss. I really like Moroccan lamps as they remind me of the amazing memories that I have when I went to Morocco back in 2012. I also think that they are glamorous, simple but beautiful they add that shabby chic to your room.

At the moment my walls are very plain which is okay but it's also quite dull I'd love to decorate them with photos of friends and family. This collage frame really appealed to me because it's cute but also a really good price for the size of it. I think that it would fit perfectly into my room as it's white and different because the photos are different shapes and sizes.

I would like to put this tray on top of my bedside table as it would look great as a backdrop for some of my photos for my blog. It will also be useful for me as I can light candles safely and enjoy them at the same time too. I love the actual candle holders I think that they are really chic and add a spot of colour to the room.

absolutely love Despicable me I think I've watched both of them about a million times (no joke). I love Agnes she's so adorable & cute I just love her one liners like "OMG it's so fluffy I'm gonna die!". I really want to get both of the films so that I can watch them all the time even when I'm unable to go onto the internet to watch them.

I would really like to purchase one or two of these draws to place all of my make-up in as at the moment I'm using old food containers (glamorous I know). These are often seen on various blog posts or YouTube as many beauty bloggers/Youtubers use them to store their make-up. I love how easy they are to organize and they will defiantly work well in my room as they are a clear material.

You're probably wondering why "Superdrug" is on my wishlist well there is not really anything specific  beauty wise that I really want. So I thought that I'd include this in my wish-list to remind me just to go into the store and have a look around with no intention of purchasing a specific things. I find that this will open my mind to any product really and hopefully it will encourage me to try brands and products that I have never tired before!!

I find that you go through phases when it comes to birthdays some you find that you need/want certain products and others you have no clue what you want. On this occasion I don't really have anything in mind what I want or need in fact and being given money is just as good as a present because it gives you the freedom to purchase what you want.

A little catch up....

Hey guys I'm so sorry that I haven't posted this week I've had such a crazy week what with all my coursework due in and exams looming I just don't have the time to write full length posts. I will be back to my normal posting schedule pretty soon as my last exam is on the 21st May so keep a look out....

Passing my theory test...
On the other hand yesterday I took my driving theory test and to be quite honest with you guys I thought that I wasn't going to pass. I have practiced loads with the theory and I was quite confident with that part of the test. However the other part which is the hazard perception I hadn't practiced at all which meant that I was basically going into that part of the test blind. I was really surprised but super happy to find out that I had passed the whole thing. I scored 44 out of 50 on the actual theory and 49 out of 75 on the hazard perception which is ironic because I never really revised for the hazard perception.

Turning 18...
If you guys don't already know I turn 18 on the 28th May which is pretty soon. I'm defiantly going to be doing various videos & posts around it like a 18th Birthday Wishlist which will be up soon. I hope you guys will like the posts and videos that I produce as it often takes me quite a while to get them to the standard that I want them to be.

More news...
I will be back to my normal posting and uploading schedule pretty soon as I finish my exams soon. I can't wait to start posting and videoing lots of exciting stuff for you guys to read and watch. I'm so happy with where my blog and YouTube channel are at now and I can't wait for it to grow even more with the help of you guys!!

#2014BloggerChallenge No.8

For the eighth post of #2014bloggerchallenge we have been asked to share with you a Spring outfit of the day or in other words OOTD. I decided to share with you this particular outfit because it's been my most go to outfit this Spring so far..

For the #2014bloggerchallenge you have to write a blog post twice a month which will be about different topics. all the posts will go live during the 1st and 3rd weeks of each month. The topics are there to give you new ideas and encourage you to write about things you wouldn't normally write about.

Top from - New Look
So recently in London the weather hasn't been that great which means that most of the time it's either been raining or cold & windy. This is why my recent go to outfit consists of a jumper, jeans, a coat and Converse. I know when people think of Spring they think of pretty pastels, cute dresses & perfect pumps well unfortunately it's not been quite that warm enough for any of those items. This particular outfit has been my go to outfit because it's just so comfortable and cosy.

I recently got this jumper around March/April time and ever since I've got it has been worn at least once a week I'm just in love with it and I think that it's so cute!! I first saw it on the New Look website and thought that I must get it before it runs out. I love to wear it leggings or jeans because it's surprisingly warm considering the fabric used isn't very thick.

Top - It's from Primark it was about £2.50
I love these kinds of tops from Primark because they're stretchy and super comfortable. If there were two tops in front of me one which is more expensive, good quality but less comfortable and one which is cheap, poorer quality but incredibly comfortable I'd defiantly go for the one which is more comfortable. I usually pick up about four or five of these tops when I go to Primark in different colours usually black, white and grey because they're great for layering up.

Jeans - They're from Primark they were around £10
The jeans I've had for quite a while now and they're beginning to look all baggy and horrible on me which must mean another trip to Primark is on the cards!! Believe it or not these jeans are life savers for me especially when I'm having a girly moment and can't quite decide what to wear they're always my go to item of clothing. I also have a pair which are a lighter shade and they're just as comfortable. These type of jeans are the ones which are like leggings but they're not as thin as leggings. They fit me really well and they're not as tight as normal jeans which I like.

Coat from Hollister
I got this coat for Christmas from my Dad it's super warm and water proof which is great considering I live in London where you can get all four seasons in one day!! I think the colours are great too because navy blue really suits me and I love that the inside is a bright colour and the coat wasn't all one colour. I think that this coat will last me a good few years considering I don't see myself growing that much over the next couple of years.

Shoes - Converse All Star
These shoes have been a staple part of my entire wardrobe whatever the weather I love how versatile these shoes can be. For example they are great to wear in Winter with jeans and a long coat on the other hand you can also wear them during summer with denim shorts and a pretty top. I also think that for the quality of them they're reasonably priced and I'd love to purchase some more in different colours.
