#2014BloggerChallenge No.10

For the tenth post of #2014bloggerchallenge we have been asked to share with you something in relation to hair. This could be a hair care wishlist, night time or day time hair routine or your top 5 hair care products. I've chosen to opt for the hair care wishlist as it is Wednesday which is when my mid-week wishlist normally goes up and also because I'm craving hair products at the moment.

For the #2014bloggerchallenge you have to write a blog post twice a month which will be about different topics. all the posts will go live during the 1st and 3rd weeks of each month. The topics are there to give you new ideas and encourage you to write about things you wouldn't normally write about.

Macadamia No Tangle Brush Green £8.95
First of all I'd really like to purchase this no tangle brush because I have a tangle teaser which I really love. I love how these inventions help the battle with knots and pain when you're trying to brush your hair. I also think that the brush is a really reasonable price considering that it's a brush for a specific purpose.

BaByliss Pro Titanium Expression Curling Tong 32mm £50
I love curling my hair and the current curling tong that I own is a 20mm so I'd love to try out this 32mm as I prefer big curls instead of small ones. Don't get me wrong small curls are also great however big curls suit me better I think.

TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner Tween Duo  £26.36
The first time that I saw these TIGI duos was on one of Zoella's videos. It made me want to purchase them because it will save me having to pick up a new shampoo each month. I also wanted to try this particular one because it "Brings weak & brittle hair back to life with this powerful moisturised shampoo and conditioner".

Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask 250ml £24.75
Recently my hair has become dry as I've been using a product to help clean my scalp which means that my natural hair oils have been reduced. I've always wanted to try a hair mask and this one looks perfect first of all its got Moroccanoil in it but also because it's an intense hydrating mask. I defiantly need a mask like this at the moment as it seems like my hair has lost its life.

The Get To Know Me TAG

So considering my blog is eight months old I thought that now would be a good time to do this tag. The original post that I found which I've based my questions from is from Couture Girl's 'GET TO KNOW ME' TAG I have dropped a few pieces of information here and there about myself but I haven't dedicated a whole blog post about you guys just getting to know me. Here goes I hope you like it...

1. Are you named after anyone?
No I'm not however I am named after a continent which is pretty cool!! I love my name it's so unique and I don't think I've actually met another person who has the same name as me.

2. When was the last time you cried?
I think when I was watching a TV program I'm weird like that sometimes I cry over a character dying and other times I have no emotion at all.

3. Do you have kids?
No I'm only 18 however I'd love to have kids in the future. I adore kids and I especially love seeing them discover new things.

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
I think so because I'm a calm and peaceful person who just goes along with anything. Obviously there's times where I am horrible everybody is but nowadays that's when someone's pushed the limit.

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Yes I do I personally think that if the other person actually understands it sarcasm then you have a good relationship.

6. Will you ever Bungee Jump?
I would love to however I am afraid of heights so I think if I ever did I would have to be convinced by someone amazing in order to do it. I think that the experience would be amazing and the view would be out of this world however it is very scary for me.

7. What's your favorite cereal?
Either sugar puffs or cheerios I love to eat a bowl of cereal when i get home as a snack before my dinner.

8. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Probably their body language or teeth. I say body language because I can personally tell a lot about a person due to their body language if I don't like it then the chances are I won't like the person. Next is teeth I personally like it when people look after their teeth. This is because when you talk to someone if they don't have nice teeth you'll probably be staring at their teeth and not giving them eye contact.

9. What is your eye colour?
I have very dark brown eyes

10. Scary movie or happy endings?
Defiantly happy endings don't get me wrong I don't mind scary movies but if I had to pick out of the two I'd watch a happy film. I just love it when things turn out right everyone does don't they?

11. Favorite smells?
Hmmmm I would probably have to say in no particular order the smell when you first light a match, cut grass, breakfast tea (including milk & sugar), cake mix, lady million perfume and BBQ's to name a few.

12. Summer or winter?
I can't answer this one because I love summer because I like getting a tan and just relaxing however I love winter because of all of the things that surround Christmas!!

13. Computer or television?
I'd probably have to say computer because you can do so many more things with it like play games, watch films or TV shows, access the internet or do your homework.

14. What's the furthest you've ever been from home?
I'd probably say South Africa which is 12 hours each way on a plane. I absolutely loved that holiday it was amazing I was about 10/11 and it was just me and my mum. We had a brilliant time taking in all the sights and doing all of the girly things like shopping of course!!

15. Do you have any special talents?
Sadly no

16. Where were you born?
I was born in China back in 1996 however I'm not sure where in particular as I was adopted when I was 10 months old.

17. What are your hobbies?
Well first of all to state the obvious writing this blog is one of my hobbies. I also love to cook and discover new recipes does eating the meals that I cook a hobby too??

18. Do you have any pets?
Yeah I have two dogs called Toto & Treacle who are sisters. I have to admit before we got the dogs I wasn't so sure about having dogs as I'm not a huge dog or cat fan. However we've had our dogs for more than a year now and I can't imagine life without them. Okay so sometimes they can be gross but most of the time they're great fun and I love playing bat and ball with them in the garden.

19. Favorite movie?
This is a hard question because there's so many movies that I love such as Monsters Inc, Titanic, Skyfall, Brave and so on...

20. Do you have any siblings?
Yes I have 3 brothers and 1 sister :)

Review | Lush Bunty Gift

Today I am going to be sharing with you one of the gifts that I got given on my birthday. I love using lush products as my skin seems to agree with them. I also love the packaging of their gift boxes as they're often colorful and look really pretty. I think that lush gift boxes are a great present to get just about anyone. They offer a wide range of boxes which range from cheap to expensive but all have amazing products inside of them.

Think Pink Bath Ballistic £2.50 each
The first thing that I pulled out of the gift box was this bath ballistic. This particular one is a sweet vanilla and tonka fragrance I personally love the smell because it's not overwhelming. As the bath ballistic dissolves you’ll find yourself surrounded by rice paper confetti hearts that slowly melt away. I'm so excited to try this one out as it looks like a perfect one to use on a Sunday evening.
The second thing that I picked out was this bubble bar I actually just used this product last night. I did the rookie mistake of using the whole thing which made my bathtub overflow with bubbles (oops!!). Although I used the whole I'd defiantly purchase this one again as it smelt amazing. This particular scent was cassis absolute which gives a distinctive blackcurrant fragrance, while bergamot adds an uplifting note
The third thing that I picked out when I reached into this box of wonder was another bubble bar. I've defiantly learnt my lesson which means that when I do end up using this bubble bar I'm only going to use half at a time. This particular product smells of candy floss but also adds a hint of moisturiser as it has a blend of almond and cocoa butter within the bar.
Space Girl Bath Ballistic £2.35 each
Last of all was this bath ballistic which I have to say was a pain to get out of the box because it's covered in glitter!! I can't wait to drop it in the bath and see all of the wonderful colours that it produces. Space girl has a sweet and fruity fragrance which has a blend of grapefruit & bergamot.

Thank you for reading this post and I hope you liked it I shall be doing some reviews on these products. However I've decided not to do a review on all of them as I think that it will be too much and some people might become bored.

18th Birthday Haul ♥

So as you guys can probably tell from my recent posts I turned 18 on May 28th of this year!! I honestly had such a fantastic time as my birthday celebrations lasted about two weeks. I'd like to thank all of my friends & family who made it so special and made me feel like a princess for those two weeks.

For today's post I'm going to be sharing with you most of the presents that I got for my birthday. This has been a highly requested post by many of you who read my blog. I'd just like to say I'm not bragging or anything I like to read these type of posts so I thought I'd do one myself. I also thought that because it's a special birthday it would be more of a meaningful post.

First of all I want to share with you some of the beautiful cards that I received. I love cards and sometimes I believe they're more important than the actual presents. Cards are meaningful and say a lot about a person I think. If a person takes time to find a card which has significant words on them then they truly believe and mean what it says on the card.

I received this lovely memory box from a family friend which I'm now using to put my cards in. I'm also going to be using it to put other special things in such as certificates that I receive or special documents. I'd also like to store photos inside of it such as photos with my family and friends.

All of the presents in these individual gift bags aren't from one person!! I've just combined all of the presents into these bags because they're easy to carry and I had a lot of stuff to carry from the restaurant. I shall be doing various reviews of some of the presents that I got which will be put up over the next few weeks.

Wishlist Mid-Week #4

So for this week's mid-week wishlist I gone down the more pink and blue route. I really love some of the products that I've chosen and I'm hoping to pick a few of them up in the near future.

First of all this bomber jacket really appealed to me because it's floral and brightly colored. Normally I wouldn't go for anything as bright as this however I think that it would look lovely with a simple plain colored dress or shorts. I also think that the price of it is reasonable as it's from Boohoo who are known for their reasonably priced clothing.

Recently I've been getting a lot of spots due to exam stress and deadlines at Sixth form. I would really like to purchase both of these products to see if they suit my skin type. Throughout life you'll find products that agree with your skin and products that don't agree it's your job to find out which products do and don't agree with your skin. I really like the Neutrogena skin care line as I've found that their past products have agreed with my skin rather well.

I've always wanted a pair of sandals like these as I think they come across as simple but elegant. I love how they're black and white which means that you can pair them with almost anything. You can also either dress these type of shoes up or down depending on what you're going to be doing. Another reason why I'd like to purchase these is because they're in at the moment and everyone seems to love them.

I've always loved waterfall jackets especially in summer because they keep you warm at night but they also keep you cool. I have two a pink one and a black and white one and I find that I wear them more in the summer. Especially because I go to a Sixth form so I have to wear formal wear and these type of jackets keep me cool in summer but look formal.

I've always wanted a Marc Jacobs perfume mainly because of the design of the bottles. I think that they are so cute and pretty and they would stand out among my perfume collection. I've also seen many good reviews about this perfume which makes me want to purchase it even more.
