Things I'm Thankful For This Year + Merry Christmas

If you have read my blog for the past few years or watch my videos then you will know how much I adore Christmas. So in a way I am quite sad that it is almost over however I'm going to be making the most of it. I am well aware that I will be uploading this on the 26th December in the UK however it's still the 25th here in NYC as we are five hours behind.

Today I went on a bus ride around downtown Manhattan we saw Times Square, 5th Avenue, Macy's and the 911 Memorial among many other things. I also have a cold which has meant that I am in the hotel room this evening as I feel pretty rubbish to put it nicely. I have had a lovely day which consisted of a burger and chips for my Christmas dinner which is unusual I know. I'm now sitting in my hotel room with a few snacks typing this up which is pretty special if I must say.

Merry Christmas
I hope that each and everyone of you have had a lovely day whether you have been drinking cocktails on the beach or sitting by the cosy fire at home with friends and family. I'd especially like to thank all of you who have been supporting me whether it's from day one or just right now. I appreciate each and everyone of you and it's crazy to think that there are some people who have been with me through this journey from the start. I know that you guys will be my biggest supporters along this continuing journey whether it may take me.

Family & Friends
This year hasn't been  an easy one in fact it's probably been one of the hardest. However I am so thankful for all of my family and friends who have supported me through this crazy year. Like each year it's been full of it's ups and downs but this year has been a lot more hectic than others. You guys are honestly the best and whether you read my blog or watch my videos I don't quite know but if you do Hey!! Sometimes it's a bit awkward talking about my blog and channel with family and friends I'm not quite sure why but I find it so much easier to talk to strangers about it.

I wanted to include a paragraph about me to me so that in a few years time I can look back on it and really remember what I was going through that year. So here goes you should be incredibly proud of yourself this year as it was an extremely tough year. You have overcome so many things this year despite the circumstances you have been put in.

Thing's like going for an interview with a very successful company, leaving sixth form, continuing with your driving lessons among many more things. You are always stronger than you think and you have a kind heart although most of the time you do wear it on your sleeve. Never regret anything you have said or done as it meant something at the time.

I thought that I wouldn't include any photos in this blog post as I wanted you guys to really take in the words that I have written I shall be uploading many blog posts over the next few days in relation to my holiday so keep an idea out for those. Once I have uploaded  all of them my usual schedule will resume however I may be making changes to that for 2016 but I shall keep you posted.

Wishlist | Bath and Bodyworks

Hello everyone in today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you some of the Bath and Bodyworks candles that I would love to get my hands on. As you will know if you live in the UK like myself we can't access these candles as the shop does not ship to the UK yet. However while I'm in New York I'm hoping to pick some up they would probably have to be either the small or medium size as they would weigh a lot and take up a lot of room otherwise!!

How To Survive Christmas Without Getting Stressed

Hey everyone in today's blog post I thought that I would share with you some of my tips and tricks for staying relaxed over the Christmas period. I know that for many of you reading the whole workload of Christmas is split up and we each have our own roles. Whether this be making sure all of the presents are wrapped or there is enough food in the house for all of the family, friends and guests you will be having over.

Take time out for yourself
This one is the most important in my opinion having some time to yourself even if it's just five minutes will help you to reduce your stress levels. You can do this by taking a relaxing bath after a long day of Christmas preparations, reading a chapter of a book or listening to some music. I always like to take myself away from whatever is happening to relax for a moment. Often this is going up to my room where I can be by myself and clear my mind.

Ask for help
It's okay to ask for help even if it's something small like asking someone to carry something. If it takes the pressure of of you then why not ask even if you are the type of person who likes to do everything themselves sometimes a little help is needed. I know asking for help sometimes can make a person seem week but if it will mean you are less stressed why wouldn't you ask? I know I would obviously don't ask them to do everything you would because that's not the same. Having someone help you here and there can make a huge difference.

Prepare ahead of time
When it comes to Christmas time whether it's to do with presents, food or party planning I always like to plan way ahead of time. For example, I have brought all of my Christmas presents for my dad's side of the family as I know I'm going away soon. This means that I won't be stressing out at the last moment to buy all of the presents. I'd say prepare from now even if it's just making a list of the things you need to get therefore at least it's eliminating a bit of stress. I love making lists in general but especially at this time of year I find that they're most useful and help me to get things done.

Enjoy Christmas
Something we often forget to do is actually enjoy Christmas I know from observing people in my family who do a lot around this time of year and then forget to enjoy it themselves. We can help those around us by helping them the night before for instance so that on Christmas day itself they can enjoy it as much as possible too. Christmas is a time for making memories as well as having fun so how can you do that if you are running around like a headless chicken?

Light some candles and drink some tea
This may seem a really easy way to reduce stress but it's one of the ones that I do the most. I love lighting a candle and sitting down with a cup of tea whether it's to read a book, watch a TV show or film I find this so relaxing. You don't need to buy expensive tea or candles you can pick up amazing ones at H&M for example. As for tea I usually just have English breakfast tea with milk or Earl Grey with milk. These teas can easily be picked up at any local grocery store however the brand that you pick is up to you.

Wishlist | Nails

Hey everyone in today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you some nail varnishes and false nails that I'd really like to pick up before Christmas. However I am starting my adventure to New York so I'll be uploading blog posts which have already been pre-scheduled.

Wishlist | Miss Guided Holiday/Party

Hey everyone happy Wednesday I'm going to be sharing with you a few things that I would love to pick up as I do most Wednesdays. Today's choice of brand is Miss Guided I have actually just brought a couple of things from there including the green Khaki dress above. I thought that I would still include it though as it's such an amazing dress and I can't wait to wear it out.

Video | Pre-New York City Haul

Hello everyone in today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you my latest video which is a pre-haul for my holiday to New York City which I leave for in a weeks time!! I am super excited and I still can't quite believe I'm even going. If you liked this video please give it a THUMBS UP and make sure to SUBSCRIBE.

My 5 Go-to Beauty Products At The Moment

Hello everyone happy Monday I can't believe that in around a weeks time I shall be getting ready to head off to the big apple!! I am super excited almost to the point where I can't contain my excitement. Last week was a bit rubbish in terms of blogging I managed to get some videos up but I didn't find any time to sit down and write any blog posts. I've also been preparing many to go up whilst I'm away so I have been focusing on them a lot more.

In today's blog post I decided to share with you guys 5 beauty related things I have been loving recently. Every one of these are of a reasonable price and can be picked up in either Superdrug or Boots. I've been using many of these products for over a month if not a year as they are just products that I keep on going back to.

I have probably used this moisturiser for around a few years now and it really agrees with my skin. Which is why I use it over and over again I have decided to try a new one in the New Year however for the moment this is just perfect. I love it because it doesn't cause my skin to break out and it drys quickly. The only bad thing I would say about it is that the one which contains SPF takes slightly longer to dry and it has often gotten into my eyes which isn't fun at all!! I definitely recommend it for anyone who is just getting into skincare as Simple are a great beginners brand. Their products are so reasonable and they have a wide range of moisturisers, toners, face washes etc..

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash and Mask
The second product I've been loving recently is this Neutrogena 2in1 wash and mask. As I have said in previous videos this wash and mask is great especially when you are having a pamper evening. I feel like it really works as it stings a bit whether or not it's actually doing anything I think that it is. As it says on the packing you can either use this as a wash or mask I mainly use it as a mask as I prefer it however I have used it as a wash. It works well both ways however I will say that it is a bright white mask so you do look a bit scary aha.

OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil
I tend to use this in phases sometimes I'll use it all the time and never put it down whereas other times I won't use it for months. I love using it when my hair feels a bit dryer than normal. It's so easy to use all you have to do is rub a bit in your hands and apply onto towel dried hair. After that I normally let it either dry naturally or I blow dry it depending on the weather outside. The smell is one of my favourites as I am so in love with the scent of Moroccan Argan Oil. It reminds me of being on holiday this bottle will also last me ages as you only have to put a little bit on your hand other wise your hair will get greasy.

Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water
This one is almost gone so I picked another micellar water up but from a different brand as I wanted to try something new. However I love this one just as equally I have been using it for around two or three months now. I remember a lot of bloggers or YouTubers talking about the micellar water from Garnier however I haven't gotten around to trying that one just yet. I have found that this one is really gentile on your skin and doesn't irritate it as the formula isn't strong. I just simply place some on a cotton pad and then swipe it around my face until it's clean then I continue with my skincare routine.

The last product that I'm going to be sharing with you may seem like a weird one but I'm going to do it anyways. Deodorant is something we often over look but I think it's actually quite important. I particularly love this one as it isn't visible under most clothes which is what you don't want to happen. Imagine going out wearing a top that you can see white marks on how embarrassing would that be!! I usually stock up on these when they are on offer as it can be quite expensive compared to other brands.

Entertainment Wishlist

Hey everyone happy Wednesday in today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you a few entertainment things that I'd like to pick up over these next few weeks. As the holiday season is fast approaching more of us will be spending time at home so we need things to keep us busy. I love watching new films with some snacks and a good old cup of tea as well as listening to albums while I read a book.

A ChiChi Dress Fit For A Princess

Hello everyone and a happy Monday to you I hope that your week has kicked off to a good start. In today's blog post I am going to be sharing with you two beautiful dresses that I picked up from Chi Chi London a week or two ago.

As you will already know I am going on holiday in around three weeks time which has flown by. As I am going on a cruise which is going to be formal at times I decided to pick up a few dresses from Chi Chi. This was my first time purchasing anything from them and I felt like I had just walked into a princesses dress shop. All of their dresses are just gorgeous and each have their own beauty about them.

I decided to head to the sale section as I have to admit I don't quite earn enough at the moment to purchase two of these dresses at full price. However their sale section was offering these two dresses that I decided to get and I have to admit I am pleased I did. I absolutely love them they transform me into a princess as such when I wear them. I can't wait to wear them on the ship and show my Nan too whom I don't think has seen them yet (She will love them!!).

Chi Chi Paislee Dress Blue £30 was £67.99
The first dress that I picked up was this beautiful blue one which I have to admit I wasn't so sure about. However i had nothing to fear as it looked even more gorgeous in real life. The photo on the website made me wonder whether I would like it when I saw it or not. But I absolutely adore it is such a different sort of dress nothing like I have owned before which is great because it also means I'm exploring fashion zones out of my comfort area.

Chi Chi Maxine Dress Red £19.99 was £44.99
The second dress that I picked up is this red dress which is made out of the softest material I have ever felt. I can't quite describe what material it is but it's so soft and I instantly feel beautiful when I put it on. I love the sweetheart neckline and the whole length of the dress is perfect as I am quite small. It covers my bum which I like as I don't want to be exposing anyone unexpectedly now do I. I can't wait to pair this dress with my black heels for a more feminine look or with my boots for a more rock chick look.

I have loved the whole shopping experience with Chi Chi I ordered my dresses and they arrived within a few days which is great. They were packaged perfectly as both dresses were in amazing condition. I highly recommend their dresses as well as the other items that they have on offer such as tops, play-suits and jumpsuits and shorts as well as much more.

New York City Bucketlist

As the majority of you will know if you have been reading my blog since this time last year. I am going to the big apple in a few weeks which has flown by as this time last year I was only just finding out I was even going in the first place. I thought that in this blog post I would note down a few things that I would love to do whilst I am there.

I am going with my Mum and Nan therefore some of these ideas won't be possible however I could probably tick off around half of them. It just gives me another reason to go back one day and tick off the rest on this bucket list.

- Take a photo of the city's skyline from near the Brooklyn bridge
- Eat a salmon and cream cheese bagel
- Eat proper American pancakes
- Visit Grand Central Station
- Go to a local drugstore (e.g CVS)
- Visit Target and Bath and Bodyworks
- Take a stroll through Central Park
- Take lots of photos in Times Square
- Walk the High Line
- Visit the 9/11 memorial
- Visit the Statue of Liberty
- Have afternoon tea at the Plaza hotel
- Visit the West Village
- Visit Carlo's Bakery in Times Square or the real one in Hoboken
- Go to a theater show on Broadway
- Go up the Empire State Building

Obviously there are many more things I'd like to do but these are just a few that I thought I would share with you. Have you ever been to New York? If so what was your favourite part of your trip there?

Video | Winter Themed Q&A

Hey everyone I won't be uploading a video today as I haven't really had time to film, edit or upload any. I was supposed to take my driving test on Friday however it got cancelled at the last minute due to a strike. Which meant that I had been practicing a lot for that so this week was a bit crazy.

I want to share with you my latest video which went up on Thursday instead of Wednesday as I was busy on that day. This particular video is a Winter themed Q&A which I had great fun filming. If you liked this video please give it a THUMBS UP and make sure to SUBSCRIBE.

Five Things Friday 13.11.15

Hey everyone happy Friday 13th!! Yes it's that one Friday a year we all slightly dread has anything bad happened to you?? Luckily nothing has happened to me yet....

So I thought that I would start this series called Five things Friday now it's not like I just made it up myself I've seen many bloggers do exactly the same post but on their blog. If you haven't already guessed what it is then I'll let the cat out of the bag every Friday I'm going to be looking back on my week and sharing with you guys five good things that happened that week. I think that it's such a lovely way to keep a mini record of my life as you often forget those little things that happen on a daily basis.

I started reading Girl Online On Tour a few days ago and I'm already hooked right onto it. I just love the story line and I can relate to a lot of the things in the book at this moment in time. I've always been a big fan of Zoe and ever since she started writing novels I've loved her even more. The first book was amazing so I'm expecting the same from the second one. I'm already on chapter twenty two which is quiet a way in considering I only started reading it a few days ago.

I find that if there's a book I love then I tend to read it a lot quicker than a book which I find less interesting. I can't wait to read more of the book and see where the story line goes. I hope that Zoe brings out a third book in the series or another book with a different story line because I just love her writing style.

I have found that this week here in London has truly been Autumnal there's leaves all over the ground. It's rained at least once a day most mornings have been crisp but sunny which I absolutely love. I love the sense of feeling fresh when you leave your house in the morning and it's freezing but the sun is shining. I'm so excited for Autumn and Winter this year especially when I head off to New York in a few weeks.

Leading on from number two I've been super excited for New York this week it's like it is all becoming very real. I leave for NYC in exactly 32 days which really isn't that long if you think about it. I can't wait to experience everything the hustle and bustle of the city, the various "best coffee" signs, $1 pizza but most of all the skyline.

I'd love to take a taxi over to the Brooklyn Bridge and multiple pictures of the skyline. I am a huge fan of city photos I just think each one looks the same but they each hold thousands of different stories. I'm going to be doing a whole series on my trip to NYC so keep a look out for that because it's going to be awesome as the American say.

Healthy food makes you feel good. So this week I've been trying to eat better whether it's by eating one salad a day or just cutting back on the rubbish I've been doing okay. I have to say this week I've also been feeling a lot more energized and motivated to do things. Whether it's the change of eating better food or not I'm going to go with it. Don't get me wrong I don't eat like a rabbit each day I do indulge in my favourite foods as well. I'm just making sure to eat some fruit or vedgetables each day as well as only one treat or two.

So today Justin Bieber's new album came out and I have to admit it just came out at the right time for me. Some of the songs on there are perfect for this time of my life. I know I'll be listening to it on repeat all weekend. A few of my favourite songs are What Do You Mean?, Sorry, Love Yourself, Life Is Worth Living and Where Are U Now. I'm sure many more of the songs will become my favourite but at the moment these are the ones. I've always loved Justin from his first album My Worlds to his latest Purpose. There's many songs he's sang that I always go back to as some of them have meanings to them for me.

Video | Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Review

In today's blog post I'm going to be sharing you with you my latest video which is my thoughts and opinions on Rimmel's Oh My Glosses. As you can probably already tell I love the brand Rimmel and they are always my go-to make-up brand. If you liked this video please give it a THUMBS UP and make sure to SUBSCRIBE.

Wishlist | Benefit

Hello everyone in today's blog post I am going to be sharing with you some of the beauty products that I would love to purchase from Benefit make up. Of course Benefit is quiet an expensive brand in my opinion. However these products last me a long time so I would definitely purchase some more from them.

Things To Do In London This Autumn/Winter

Hello everyone happy Monday I'm sorry that it's been a week or so since you have last heard from me. I've been super busy also not really in the blogging mood so I thought that I would leave it instead of forcing myself to write a blog post.

In today's blog post I thought that I would share with you some things you could do in my home city of London this Autumn/Winter. Whether you're visiting for the holidays, coming home or just visiting for the day or weekend you may need some inspiration as what you can do.

- Spend the morning or afternoon in Regents Park (My favourite park)
- Go to the theater
- Discover a restaurant in the backstreets of Soho
- Go early Christmas present shopping in Westfield (Shopping on Oxford Street is too stressful for me!!)
- If you're visiting from another country check out the local drug store
- Go on an Instagram worthy photography spree around the city
- Eat breakfast for dinner at The Breakfast Club (P.s large groups means longer waits!! So I would split your group up then you will wait less to eat)
- Explore the wonders of Winter Wonderland (Don't forget to take loads of photos too)
- Read a book in a cute little coffee shop
- Go for a drink at the Shard or Sky Garden
- Explore London by using the tube map (Hint: Visit one borough at a time and make the most of it)
- Go to one of the local food markets and try a little of everything

Five Things Friday 30.10.15

Five things friday 30.10.15
Hey everyone happy Friday I hope you have all had a lovely week and continue to have a great weekend!! I've been super busy this week which will all be explained in this blog post. Which is why I haven't been active much on here, my social media platforms or my YouTube channel.

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind in terms of jobs as most of you know I'm currently working at a part time job however I am looking for a permanent job. I am looking for a higher apprenticeship preferably based upon digital marketing. An amazing job came my way and I applied straight away which then lead to an interview all in the same week. I have to admit I was rather nervous for the interview as I haven't had one in a while and it's quiet a big deal.

However it went really well and I received some feedback almost straight away unfortunately that job has been filled. In many ways it's almost a good thing as I think it wasn't 100% suited for me however they have suggested another role. I'm still waiting to hear back from this one but I'm hoping that it all goes well and I should be one step closer to achieving my goals both short term and long term. This is why I haven't been very active on anything this week as I've been preparing for my interview.

The second thing this week is all about driving as some of you may or may not know my driving test is fast approaching. Therefore at the moment my lessons are pretty important. As I'm only able to practice driving within these lessons I am trying to get as much out of them as I can. I have to admit I am pretty excited but also nervous for the test as I just want to get it over and done with. Learning to drive is quiet expensive however it will definitely all be worth it when I pass (fingers crossed).

I am in love with Goggle Box and First Dates which are both shown on Channel 4. Goggle Box is a program where people are filmed watching TV shows. They commentate how they feel and think about each show as they watch it. I have to admit at first I thought what a stupid program but as I'm watching it more and more I'm slightly falling in love with it. It makes me laugh as some of the sentences said are hilarious as obviously everyone has different opinions about everything.

Another TV show I've been loving is First Dates which is based in a restaurant in London where people go on their first date. It's pretty self explanatory really some people come to the restaurant once and find love where as others come a few times. I think it's such a lovely program as you see people from all walks of life. I have to admit I have a soft spot for programs like this I just love seeing two people having the same feelings for each other.

I have learnt that this week many people will walk into your life. Some may stay for a while whereas others may stay for only a minute. However all of them are there to teach, show or give you something. Whether or not we know what a persons intentions are I have learnt that you should take everything as it comes. There's no point in living in the past or the future because the past is gone and the future hasn't even arrived. You should live in the here and now because these decisions, actions, thoughts or feelings will affect you most at the moment in time.

By doing this you can actually live without worrying about what has happened in the past or what will happen in the future. Many things have happened this week which have helped me to realise this. Sometimes we just need to remember what is happening right now and not in an hour.

I have to admit I don't have a fifth thing for this week so I will have to leave it at four.....

The Sunday Topic No.11 Disney Films

The Sunday Topic - Disney Films

The Sunday Topic:
I wanted to start a series that I'm going to be running for the whole year one that's going to inspire people, make people happy and make them realise how beautiful life actually is!! So each Sunday I'm going to be posting a lifestyle post about something. This could be anything from good topics to dark topics that no one ever really talks about. By doing this I hope to open peoples eyes about how beautiful the world is but also how dark and lonely it can be.

Disney Films
The first full Disney film was Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs which took a full three years to complete. This was released in 1937 which took in a lot of sales enabling Walt to purchase some land in California to build the Walt Disney Studios. From this Walt got a taste of what he could create in terms of films.

As we know some of the old movies include Beauty and The Beast, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Aladdin, Tarzan, Dumbo and Mulan to name a few. Whereas some of the newest Disney films include Frozen, Big Hero 6, Cinderella, Maleficent, Wreck-It-Ralph, Tangled and Meet The Robinsons.

The Good
Disney films allow us to take our minds off our own lives for a while and be thrown into a completely different life. I always find that Disney films make me happy and cheer me up if I'm having a bad day. I love the array of different characters throughout the movies as you can see different aspects of yourself in each character.

My love for Disney
As you guys know I am a big Disney fan especially when it comes to the movies. I'm always watching them and I usually watch each one at least ten times (no joke). I'm the type of person who can watch a film over and over again and not get bored of it. Some of the films that I have recorded and that I watch at least once a week are Tangled, Frozen, Wreck-It-Ralph and Beauty and The Beast. I absolutely love those movies and I always put one on if I'm having a bad day.

Where I see Disney films in the future
I can see the films getting better and better as time goes on however I still love all of the classic movies. If you compare Frozen to Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs you can see the difference clearly. However each and every Disney film is filled with magic they are all enjoyable to watch and I never find them boring unless their directed more towards boys.

How long will I watch Disney films for?
I honestly see myself watching them for a pretty long time at the moment I'm 19 and I still don't get bored of them. Then when I have my own kids I'll be watching them with them. So I think I will be watching Disney films for a long time as new ones are being released each year.

A few of my favorite films
- Tangled
- Frozen
- Finding Nemo
- Bedknobs and Broomsticks
- Beauty and The Beast
- Eight Below
- The Emperor's New Groove
- Lilo and Stitch
- Mulan

Five Things Friday 15.10.15

So I thought that I would start this series called Five things Friday now it's not like I just made it up myself I've seen many bloggers do exactly the same post but on their blog. If you haven't already guessed what it is then I'll let the cat out of the bag every Friday I'm going to be looking back on my week and sharing with you guys five good things that happened that week. I think that it's such a lovely way to keep a mini record of my life as you often forget those little things that happen on a daily basis.

This week seeing as my one and only candle died out I thought I would go and pick some up from H&M homeware. I managed to pick up two candles which are currently burning at this moment in time while I write this blog post. I cannot tell you how homely my room feels right now especially as it's quite chilly outside. Candles just make everything more cosy in my opinion especially during these cold months. I can't wait to start my own candle cupboard and have loads as a back up for when they all finish.

As some of you will know I am currently taking driving lessons which may soon be over as I have booked my test although I'm keeping a tight lip on the exact date. I've been having good driving lessons recently which always put me in a good mood. I had an especially good driving lesson this week which was two hours long. Two hours driving can seem nothing to a lot of people but a lot to some.

For me it's a perfect amount although at the moment I am doing one week of a two hour lesson then the next only an hour. I am definitely looking forward to my next one as I'm now just waiting to take my test really all these lessons in the next few weeks are just practice runs for the real thing.

I did a really big clean out of my room this week and I ended up giving loads of clothes away to charity which always makes me feel good. I always feel so much more organised and clear headed once I've had a good clean out I like to do this at least twice a year. I always find things I haven't found in ages as well as things which make me think why did I buy this in the first place.

Don't you feel much better once you've tied up that pile of clothes in your corner or sorted out the clutter in your bathroom? I do!! I always find it helps me to think a lot better about other things I need to do. However I have to admit I am the type to always leave picking up a pile of clothes or sorting out things to a later date.

This week I've really been trying to get the most out of each day. Whether it's by ticking off things that I've been meaning to do for a while or by pre-writing blog posts for the week. I'm starting to realise that you can get a lot done in your day if you use it correctly. For example, by getting up earlier you can get more things done or by staying up later you can do the same.

Now that I have more time on my hands as I don't have homework, coursework or revision taking up my time I needed to find other ways to use up that time effectively. Yes writing a blog and running a YouTube channel does take up most of this time. However I also want to find other things to do such as photography which I love. Maybe I could even learn to cook some new dishes which I also love cooking is one of my all time favourite pass times.

The last thing this week would have to be music I know this plays a massive part in everyone's life. But it's played a big part in mine this week I have just loved listening to all types of different songs this week with the help of Spotify. I have discovered so many new songs that I am in love with one being Human by Christina Perri it's such an amazing song. I find it so relaxing finding a great playlist to put on whilst I'm editing a video or writing a blog post.

A Book Series You Definitely Need To Read

Hello everyone happy Monday I know this will be going up quite late as I've only just sat down to type it up and it's already 10.20 pm oops....How are we all today has been one of those days where each hour has felt like a day. I suppose the fact that I didn't sleep well last night didn't help one bit. In today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you a book series that I have loved reading.I've yet to finish the last book Isla and the happily ever after however the first two were amazing and the third is amazing so far!!

I love to read books although I have to be in the mood to read one. I find now that I have more time on my hands I actually don't read as much as I could. Isn't it funny when I was studying and had lots of homework/coursework/revision to do I'd rather have read a book and now I don't feel up to it at all. I'm going to try and summarize the books without actually giving the story line away. I thought then I'd tell you my opinion on each book seeing as this is sort of a review in a way.

Anna and the French Kiss £5.99 was £6.99
In the first book we are introduced to Anna who has been sent off to boarding school in Paris. Leaving a guy behind she really liked she finds it quiet tough being in Paris without knowing what he's getting up to. However she soon realises what boarding in Paris really means. She discovers herself in a whole new light with the help of a few friends. In the end she meets this really lovely guy who has some problems of his own.

Overall I really liked reading this book and although it was quiet a while ago I remember reading it super fast. What I liked most about the book was the amount of detail for the story line and each character. I really felt like I was a spectator watching the story line unfold from the sidelines. If you love teen romance books then this is definitely one to read although I think it's aimed towards older teens.

In the second book we meet Lola who works at the movie theater that Anna works at. In a way all of the books overlap each other but they also have their own story lines. Lola is a typical teenage girl in many ways apart from having two fathers which are actually quite funny and made me laugh a few times. She's been dating this older guy for a few months now which her fathers don't agree of. However she's always liked the boy next door who has recently returned. Lets just say it's a pretty darn cute book full of romance, friendship and fun.

Like the first book I read this one pretty quick too as once I'm in enjoying a book I can't put it down. This one is set in San Francisco which was pretty cool to learn about as throughout the book the city is also portrayed. I've never been to San Fran but it sounds like my type of place!!

The last book of the series as I have previously mentioned above I have yet to finish. So far I am really enjoying it it's based in three cities New York City, Paris and Barcelona as the main character Isla goes to the same French boarding school that Anna went to. Like the other two books this one features just as much romance which I love to read. It really portrays the ups and downs of young love which again I love to read as I haven't really experienced that yet.

I am looking forward to getting around and finishing the book when I feel like I'm in the mood. I have picked up the book several times to finish it off but then something else happens and I get distracted. I'm sure the book is equally as good as the others and I will be lost with what to read next as I've been living in a Stephanie Perkins bubble these past few months reading this series.

Have you read any of Stephanie Perkin's books?

The Sunday Topic No.11 | Investing in YouTubers

The Sunday Topic:
I wanted to start a series that I'm going to be running for the whole year one that's going to inspire people, make people happy and make them realise how beautiful life actually is!! So each Sunday I'm going to be posting a lifestyle post about something. This could be anything from good topics to dark topics that no one ever really talks about. By doing this I hope to open peoples eyes about how beautiful the world is but also how dark and lonely it can be.

Investing In YouTubers
So what do I mean by this well the majority of the big YouTubers these days have brought something of their own out. Whether this is a book, beauty products, homeware or music for instance. I'm sure everyone who watches YouTube and supports someone has brought something from at least one YouTuber. It could be a poster from Jim Chapman, body spray from Zoella or a song from Troye Sivan.

The Good
Obviously investing in YouTubers benefits them as they get money but most of all it supports them and shows them how much you love them. As well as this it enables you as a person to connect with others as you realise they love and watch the same people you do. Whether you can see this from their instagram profile or they just tweeted they brought the latest product from Zoella.

I think that this is great in today's society as we can then build friendships upon it. Many people build friendships upon books, films, TV shows and now the YouTubers that they watch. I think that this is pretty cool as once you build a friendship upon something like this you are likely to remain friends for a long time. I've made many friends through our common interest in a YouTuber and I've remained friends with them over the few years I've been on this whole internet world.

The Bad
I guess the only bad thing would be spending too much at once or buying something you would never use just because your favourite YouTuber brought it out. I always try to buy things within reason so for instance I'll pick one or two of the products that I really want then purchase the others at a later date. My advice would be not to buy all of them if you really cannot afford them because you may struggle with finances later in the month. I've done this many times and then I think to myself did I really need that I could have spent that on something more practical like a school book or something.

My Thoughts
I think it's great that they are able to create their own products or things as it shows how far we have come in the world. I love that various YouTubers have created different things so that there's a variety for everyone. I love to see all of the new things that are coming out and I especially love to make wishlists on them. I think wishlists are a great thing to make as they encourage you for example if you make a wishlist and say every time I do all my homework before it's due in I get to pick one thing off of it to buy.

Will I Continue To Invest In YouTubers?
The answer is yes I will continue to invest in the YouTubers that I love but within reason. Just because they are bringing out new products I won't be purchasing each and every one just a couple each time. Otherwise I will be broke and also I'll have too many products/things I won't know what to do with aha. I definitely still want to support all my favourite YouTubers and I am slowly working my way through the products and things that I already own so that I make sure to use them and not leave them sitting on the shelf.
