Entertainment Wishlist

Hey everyone happy Wednesday in today's blog post I'm going to be sharing with you a few entertainment things that I'd like to pick up over these next few weeks. As the holiday season is fast approaching more of us will be spending time at home so we need things to keep us busy. I love watching new films with some snacks and a good old cup of tea as well as listening to albums while I read a book.

A ChiChi Dress Fit For A Princess

Hello everyone and a happy Monday to you I hope that your week has kicked off to a good start. In today's blog post I am going to be sharing with you two beautiful dresses that I picked up from Chi Chi London a week or two ago.

As you will already know I am going on holiday in around three weeks time which has flown by. As I am going on a cruise which is going to be formal at times I decided to pick up a few dresses from Chi Chi. This was my first time purchasing anything from them and I felt like I had just walked into a princesses dress shop. All of their dresses are just gorgeous and each have their own beauty about them.

I decided to head to the sale section as I have to admit I don't quite earn enough at the moment to purchase two of these dresses at full price. However their sale section was offering these two dresses that I decided to get and I have to admit I am pleased I did. I absolutely love them they transform me into a princess as such when I wear them. I can't wait to wear them on the ship and show my Nan too whom I don't think has seen them yet (She will love them!!).

Chi Chi Paislee Dress Blue £30 was £67.99
The first dress that I picked up was this beautiful blue one which I have to admit I wasn't so sure about. However i had nothing to fear as it looked even more gorgeous in real life. The photo on the website made me wonder whether I would like it when I saw it or not. But I absolutely adore it is such a different sort of dress nothing like I have owned before which is great because it also means I'm exploring fashion zones out of my comfort area.

Chi Chi Maxine Dress Red £19.99 was £44.99
The second dress that I picked up is this red dress which is made out of the softest material I have ever felt. I can't quite describe what material it is but it's so soft and I instantly feel beautiful when I put it on. I love the sweetheart neckline and the whole length of the dress is perfect as I am quite small. It covers my bum which I like as I don't want to be exposing anyone unexpectedly now do I. I can't wait to pair this dress with my black heels for a more feminine look or with my boots for a more rock chick look.

I have loved the whole shopping experience with Chi Chi I ordered my dresses and they arrived within a few days which is great. They were packaged perfectly as both dresses were in amazing condition. I highly recommend their dresses as well as the other items that they have on offer such as tops, play-suits and jumpsuits and shorts as well as much more.

New York City Bucketlist

As the majority of you will know if you have been reading my blog since this time last year. I am going to the big apple in a few weeks which has flown by as this time last year I was only just finding out I was even going in the first place. I thought that in this blog post I would note down a few things that I would love to do whilst I am there.

I am going with my Mum and Nan therefore some of these ideas won't be possible however I could probably tick off around half of them. It just gives me another reason to go back one day and tick off the rest on this bucket list.

- Take a photo of the city's skyline from near the Brooklyn bridge
- Eat a salmon and cream cheese bagel
- Eat proper American pancakes
- Visit Grand Central Station
- Go to a local drugstore (e.g CVS)
- Visit Target and Bath and Bodyworks
- Take a stroll through Central Park
- Take lots of photos in Times Square
- Walk the High Line
- Visit the 9/11 memorial
- Visit the Statue of Liberty
- Have afternoon tea at the Plaza hotel
- Visit the West Village
- Visit Carlo's Bakery in Times Square or the real one in Hoboken
- Go to a theater show on Broadway
- Go up the Empire State Building

Obviously there are many more things I'd like to do but these are just a few that I thought I would share with you. Have you ever been to New York? If so what was your favourite part of your trip there?

Video | Winter Themed Q&A

Hey everyone I won't be uploading a video today as I haven't really had time to film, edit or upload any. I was supposed to take my driving test on Friday however it got cancelled at the last minute due to a strike. Which meant that I had been practicing a lot for that so this week was a bit crazy.

I want to share with you my latest video which went up on Thursday instead of Wednesday as I was busy on that day. This particular video is a Winter themed Q&A which I had great fun filming. If you liked this video please give it a THUMBS UP and make sure to SUBSCRIBE.

Five Things Friday 13.11.15

Hey everyone happy Friday 13th!! Yes it's that one Friday a year we all slightly dread has anything bad happened to you?? Luckily nothing has happened to me yet....

So I thought that I would start this series called Five things Friday now it's not like I just made it up myself I've seen many bloggers do exactly the same post but on their blog. If you haven't already guessed what it is then I'll let the cat out of the bag every Friday I'm going to be looking back on my week and sharing with you guys five good things that happened that week. I think that it's such a lovely way to keep a mini record of my life as you often forget those little things that happen on a daily basis.

One
I started reading Girl Online On Tour a few days ago and I'm already hooked right onto it. I just love the story line and I can relate to a lot of the things in the book at this moment in time. I've always been a big fan of Zoe and ever since she started writing novels I've loved her even more. The first book was amazing so I'm expecting the same from the second one. I'm already on chapter twenty two which is quiet a way in considering I only started reading it a few days ago.

I find that if there's a book I love then I tend to read it a lot quicker than a book which I find less interesting. I can't wait to read more of the book and see where the story line goes. I hope that Zoe brings out a third book in the series or another book with a different story line because I just love her writing style.

Two
I have found that this week here in London has truly been Autumnal there's leaves all over the ground. It's rained at least once a day most mornings have been crisp but sunny which I absolutely love. I love the sense of feeling fresh when you leave your house in the morning and it's freezing but the sun is shining. I'm so excited for Autumn and Winter this year especially when I head off to New York in a few weeks.

Three
Leading on from number two I've been super excited for New York this week it's like it is all becoming very real. I leave for NYC in exactly 32 days which really isn't that long if you think about it. I can't wait to experience everything the hustle and bustle of the city, the various "best coffee" signs, $1 pizza but most of all the skyline.

I'd love to take a taxi over to the Brooklyn Bridge and multiple pictures of the skyline. I am a huge fan of city photos I just think each one looks the same but they each hold thousands of different stories. I'm going to be doing a whole series on my trip to NYC so keep a look out for that because it's going to be awesome as the American say.

Four
Healthy food makes you feel good. So this week I've been trying to eat better whether it's by eating one salad a day or just cutting back on the rubbish I've been doing okay. I have to say this week I've also been feeling a lot more energized and motivated to do things. Whether it's the change of eating better food or not I'm going to go with it. Don't get me wrong I don't eat like a rabbit each day I do indulge in my favourite foods as well. I'm just making sure to eat some fruit or vedgetables each day as well as only one treat or two.

Five
So today Justin Bieber's new album came out and I have to admit it just came out at the right time for me. Some of the songs on there are perfect for this time of my life. I know I'll be listening to it on repeat all weekend. A few of my favourite songs are What Do You Mean?, Sorry, Love Yourself, Life Is Worth Living and Where Are U Now. I'm sure many more of the songs will become my favourite but at the moment these are the ones. I've always loved Justin from his first album My Worlds to his latest Purpose. There's many songs he's sang that I always go back to as some of them have meanings to them for me.

Things To Do In London This Autumn/Winter

Hello everyone happy Monday I'm sorry that it's been a week or so since you have last heard from me. I've been super busy also not really in the blogging mood so I thought that I would leave it instead of forcing myself to write a blog post.

In today's blog post I thought that I would share with you some things you could do in my home city of London this Autumn/Winter. Whether you're visiting for the holidays, coming home or just visiting for the day or weekend you may need some inspiration as what you can do.

- Spend the morning or afternoon in Regents Park (My favourite park)
- Go to the theater
- Discover a restaurant in the backstreets of Soho
- Go early Christmas present shopping in Westfield (Shopping on Oxford Street is too stressful for me!!)
- If you're visiting from another country check out the local drug store
- Go on an Instagram worthy photography spree around the city
- Eat breakfast for dinner at The Breakfast Club (P.s large groups means longer waits!! So I would split your group up then you will wait less to eat)
- Explore the wonders of Winter Wonderland (Don't forget to take loads of photos too)
- Read a book in a cute little coffee shop
- Go for a drink at the Shard or Sky Garden
- Explore London by using the tube map (Hint: Visit one borough at a time and make the most of it)
- Go to one of the local food markets and try a little of everything
