Wishlist | Missguided

It's a Wednesday today which means that I am going to upload another wishlist. Sorry, it's going up quite late today I didn't have a chance to get it done yesterday. I am absolutely loving the Missguided Barbie range at the moment especially the tee-shirts. I would love to pick up these two, in particular, to tuck into jeans or skirts in the Autumn/Winter.

*Candle Cafe London - Vanilla Latte

Happy Bank Holiday Monday guys I hope your morning is going well. I absolutely love a Bank Holiday especially when I've been working hard and just need an extra day off to relax. Today I am going to be sharing with you Candle Cafe London who are a brand new candle company in London. If you know me then you know that I love having candles on especially when I'm getting some work done or I'm in the bath.

I was very excited when my friend who works for Candle Cafe London gave me one of their candles to review. If you love coffee then you will love these candles as they are specifically coffee related. Now I'm not a coffee person I don't drink it at all but I really love the smell of it. I think the concept is amazing as I haven't really seen coffee candles before. I'm sure that there are plenty out there but I've never seen ones similar to these before.

As they are a start-up they haven't got a lot of different candles at the moment however, they have three different scents that you can choose from. The one I have is the Vanilla Latte but there is also Caramel Latte & Hazelnut Latte. They usually retail for £30 but they are on offer for £20 at the time that this post goes live. You can pick one up from their website here or on Amazon.

The packaging has been designed by a chalk artist who hand drew all of their package designs. I love how aesthetically pleasing they look and it slightly reminds me of education as that's where you tend to use chalk boards. The candles would fit into any sort of interior design as they are quite subtle but unique.

Now you are probably wondering what makes these candles different to any other candle. Apart from the fact that they smell of coffee and that their designs are chalk drawn, they are also made from soy wax. The soy wax that they use is 100% GM free and has no pesticides or herbicides. As soy beans are renewable this means that the candle is bio-degradable. Which means that all of the candles are eco-friendly products.

I love the candle that I got and my friend definitely knows me well as I would have chosen this one out of the three. Overall I love the simplicity of the candle but how the design of the box and the label on the candle sticks out. I am really thankful to be given one as I don't think I would have bought one myself as I'm not really a coffee lover as I mentioned before.

I can see this candle brand going really far as lots of people love candles and lots of people love coffee so the combination of the two is really clever. What I love the most is that the candle doesn't have an overpowering scent it's just the right amount. If you are a candle and a coffee lover then this is right up your street and I highly recommend you trying one. You can even put one on your Christmas wish list as we are only 4 months away from Christmas now ahhhh!

Wishlist | Hollister A/W 17

Hey guys I haven't done a wishlist post in a while so I thought I would do one. If you have been reading my blog for a while then you will know that I love a good wishlist. I've recently been really into fashion and I've even changed up my Instagram so that it's mainly fashion based now.

For many years now I have been a massive fan of Hollister and I can definitely say I own a fair amount of clothing from them. I especially love their Autumn/Winter range as that's my favourite time of the year. I thought that I would put together some of the things I would get for my A/W wardrobe for this year.

Maui Moisture Coconut Milk Review

Last month I was invited to the Maui Moisture UK launch event which you can read all about here. The event was a great success and whoever attended was lucky enough to get this amazing straw beach bag with one of the product ranges inside.

I got given the "Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk"  which is the blue set. There are four other sets which include Strength & Anti-Breakage + Agave Nectar, Curl Quench + Coconut Oil, Revive & Hydrate + Shea Butter and Thicken & Restore + Bamboo Fibers.

Before I go any further I should mention how lucky I was to get invited to this event and to be given these products. Okay so on to the review let's talk about the packaging first. Each of the sets within the range has the same packaging however, they are colour coded depending on what set it is. For example, the shea butter one is pink and then the bamboo fibers one is green.

I love how the packaging is quite see-through so you can see the product inside. Considering you get quite a lot of product in each bottle they're quite light which is great for traveling. I really like the brightness of the packaging as it brightens up any room and really stands out in the bathroom.

I am very pleased that I got given the blue set as it's specifically targetted towards dry hair. As the ends of my hair are dyed slightly they do get dry quite quickly. They smell amazing as you would expect from a coconut shampoo.

However, these shampoos, conditioners and other hair products have no mineral oil, no silicones, no parabens, no gluten, no SLS, no sulfated surfactants, no synthetic dye and no ALES. On the other hand, they are vegan, eco-friendly, made with pure coconut water and pure aloe juice.

With the shampoo, you're supposed to wet your hair first and then apply a generous amount to your hair especially the ends of your hair. Then rinse it thoroughly before applying the conditioner. You are supposed to do the same with the conditioner however, before you rinse it out you should leave it on for 3-5 minutes to soak in.

Lastly, once I had rinsed out the shampoo, applied and rinsed out the conditioner I applied the oil mist to damp hair and then used the hair dryer to dry my hair. My hair definitely felt a lot softer than before as I haven't used conditioner in ages so I definitely saw a difference. It smelt amazing and even my mum complimented me on it as she said that she could smell it when I was close by.

I really liked using the combination of the three as they were really straightforward to use. I would love to try out the other sets as some of them have hair masks that I would be interested to test out. You can buy Maui Moisture products from Boots here in the UK and they retail for around £8 per product.

Maui Moisture Product Launch Event

Last month was a pretty busy month for many reasons. I went on holiday to Dorset with my family, I started my new job role and then I got invited to my first ever PR event. I have been sent some products in the past but I have never been invited to an event by a brand. When I got the email I was super surprised that I was even invited in the first place and also quite nervous about attending by myself.

The launch event itself was for a new hair care brand called "Maui Moisture" who have already launched in America and were launching in the UK in July. The event was held at Mahiki night club in Mayfair which was ironic for me as I'm not really of a clubbing person. I went to the event after work as it was from 7pm-10pm so I was still in my work clothes.

The event itself was a lot of fun as it was a Hawaiin theme if you hadn't picked that up from the photos. The team had set up a lot of things to do such as a Flat "Lei" station where there were a lot of different resources that you could use to create your perfect flatlay. The lady who ran the flatlay station had lots of photography tips and tricks to teach us which we all loved.

You could also take the perfect photo with their amazing area that had a ring light, products to feature in the photos and a Hawaiian background. There was also lots of snacks like sushi & chicken bites as well as tropical drinks in pretty cool cups.

One of the best parts was the Lei making station where you could make your own flower bracelets. This was a lot harder than I thought it would be and I was not very good as the lady had to help recover mine to make it half decent haha.

Apart from being invited to an amazing event to learn about a new brand the other perk is making new friends who do the same thing as you. As it was a PR event there were a lot of bloggers & YouTubers there. What was nice was that there were bloggers & YouTubers who have large and small followings. This meant that there were loads of bloggers & YouTubers who were similar to me.

I made lots of new blogging friends who I know I will keep in touch with as they are all lovely. It's always nice to make new blogging friends and even meet some you have been speaking to online but have never met in person. Events like this are a great way to network and make friends in the blogging world as more often than not we make friends online but hardly meet up with them in person.

I just want to say a massive thank you to OGX Beauty & Maui Moisture for inviting me to the event and for hosting a really amazing event. Going alone was quite scary at first but I'm so glad that I did because I don't think I would have networked as well as I did if I went by myself.

It's a night I won't forget for a long time as I had a lot of fun and if I could I would re-live it in a heartbeat. I am also going to be uploading a review on the products soon so keep an eye out for that. For more information on the Maui Moisture products then you can check out their website here.

Check out my new friends:

My Mediterranean Holiday 2017 | Day 9: Palma (Spain)

Hey everyone today is my last holiday blog post which is a bittersweet thing. I'm sad that my holiday will be officially over as it was such a great one but I'm looking forward to writing normal blog posts. The last place that we visited was Palma which is in Spain.I had never been to Palma before but my Nan had many years ago.

We had decided to get on the hop on and off bus from the port which would take us around the city. However, this was a bad idea as we qued up for about an hour for it as the line was so long and the bus only came every 20 minutes. When we did get on the bus we got off a few stops after to look around the shopping area. None of us ended up buying anything but it was nice to look around and stop off for an ice cream.

We then decided to head back to the ship as we didn't want to explore Palma anymore. Palma was okay but there wasn't much to see or do so we didn't enjoy it that much. I would happily go back and explore it a bit more but when you only have a short time there it's hard to find things to do in between that time.

Once we got back on the ship the first thing was to grab some food as we were all hungry. As it was the last day on the ship before we disembarked in the morning they had a crepe station which was so yummy. I decided to get two for my Nan and me to share we got Nutella obviously and then an apple one.

They were pretty delicious and we ate a lot of it. Afterwards, we went and sat in sun for a bit before we had to go back and pack. After packing we got ready for our last night on the ship. We had decided to do the walk off option the next morning which meant that we could have our luggage with us in the night and carry it off the ship by ourselves a little later than everyone else.

Before dinner we watched the Manhatten Band for a bit who were playing in the lobby of the ship. For our last dinner we went back to Taste which was really yummy and I enjoyed it a lot. I then went to meet my friends at the night club where I stayed until like 2am.

The next day was all a bit hectic and I didn't manage to vlog any of it. We basically docked back in Barcelona and then got off the ship at around 9am. Our flight wasn't until 7pm which meant that we weren't getting picked up until 4pm. We had the whole day in Barcelona which was quite tiring as we were all tired and wanted to go home.

We ended up going back to the shopping mall in the harbour where we got lunch and shopped a bit before we went back to the port where the taxi would pick us up to take us to the airport. We landed back in the UK at around 8pm UK time as Barcelona are an hour ahead. I went straight to bed as I had work the next day and had to get up early.

I just want to say a massive thank you for all the support I have received from both my vlogs and blog posts. Now I need to plan more travelling so that I can vlog it all for you.....watch this space because I have plenty more room to travel the world.

My Mediterranean Holiday 2017 | Day 8: Cannes (France)

Hey, guys so today's blog post is one of the last ones of my holiday series *cries silently* that means that my holiday will be officially over. The second to last place that we visited on our cruise was Cannes in France. Unfortunately when we went the Cannes Film Festival had already finished.

Normally when the ship would dock it would dock at the port in a town. In Cannes as our ship was too big we docked in the middle of the sea and we had to catch a tender boat to shore. This was not fun at all as the tender boat was really small, hot and rocky. I have to admit it did increase my anxiety a lot because it made me feel quite sick.

I was so glad to get off the tender boat and back onto dry land. Even though I had just spent several days on a cruise ship as it's a lot bigger you don't necessarily feel it rock unless the sea is really rough. As soon as you got off the tender boat and started to walk around Cannes you immediately felt a sense of glamour.

The first thing that we did was get on this small tourist train that would take us on a tour of Cannes. We went around the harbour and saw all of the luxury shops. Then the tour took us to the more residential areas where you could see the amazing houses and a great view of Cannes itself. We then stopped off for some drinks and looked around the shops. We didn't have any food as it was so expensive just to buy a drink!

Then we looked at all of the luxury shops as I was on the hunt for something that I could buy with my birthday money. I eventually settled on a bag from Longchamp. It was just nice to buy something and say that I bought it from Cannes. We looked in all of the nice shops like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes etc..The prices were ridiculous and I even found that I could have bought the bag from Longchamp a lot cheaper from London but oh well....

We then headed back to the ship again on another tender boat. This time wasn't that bad as I knew what to expect. But I was glad to get back on the ship that wasn't rocking as much. We then headed straight up stairs to get some lunch as we hadn't eaten since breakfast.

After lunch we went back to the room and had some time out and just relaxed. All of us then got ready for dinner as we had decided to try the pub out which was one of the many complimentary restaurants. It turned out that the food wasn't that great and none of us really enjoyed it. We then headed to the show that we had chosen that evening.

The show is called "Burn The Floor Rebellion In The Ballroom" which is a show dedicated to dancing. Now I'm not a big fan of dancing but I can appreciate how hard they work. I didn't like it that much as it was a bit all over the place and didn't really have a story. My Mum & Nan liked it as they love the TV shows like Strictly Come Dancing & Dancing On Ice.

After the show we headed up to the top deck for the glow party. The ship were throwing a big party as we didn't dock at our next location until 1pm the next day. I met some people who I had spoken to before and then they introduced me to this massive group of people around my age. It was so nice to finally interact with people my age. We then partied and just got to know each other until like 2/3am and then I went to bed.

My Mediterranean Holiday 2017 | Day 7: Livorno & Pisa (Italy)

Hey guys in today's blog post we stop off at the last location in Italy which is Livorno the main port for Pisa. Livorno was about 20 minutes away from Pisa (Yes where the Leaning Tower Of Pisa is) by train. After breakfast we made our way to leave the ship which was on the fourth floor.

We then caught a shuttle bus from the ship to the local train station which was $10 each for a return. The train station in Livorno was really easy to navigate and we managed to get our train tickets easily. I think for three returns from Livorno to Pisa it was about €15 which is really cheap.

The people who worked at the train station were really helpful considering that none of us spoke Italian. We had to wait a little while for our train as they came every half an hour and we had just missed one. The train ride was about 20 minutes and the trains were so cool because they were double decker.

When we arrived at Pisa train station which is about a 30-minute walk to the tower itself. We decided to walk there and get a taxi back to the train station. It was probably the hottest day of our holiday when we were in Pisa. The walk was quite straightforward but it was quite long especially for my Nan who is 82.

If you don't already know I absolutely love architecture and when we were walking from the train station to the tower we saw many amazing buildings that really stood out. The area where the tower is actually quite small I thought it would be a lot bigger. The tower itself is smaller than I thought it was going to be I had imagined it to be a lot bigger. We didn't end up going up the top of it as there were too many stairs for my Nan.

We walked around for a bit and then I got some pizza for €3. The pizza wasn't that bad for the price. We then got some ice cream as it was our last day in Italy and we all loved the ice cream that we got in Naples. Luckily it didn't melt so fast this time so we could properly enjoy it. We only stayed for a few hours as we had to get back to the ship in time.

Our plan was to take a taxi back to the train station from the town centre but there were no taxi's at all. My Nan was really tired by this time and it was really hot. We ended up walking all the way back while stopping a fair few times. Even on the way back we didn't see many taxi's which was really weird considering that it was the city centre.

We then got the train back to Livorno and got the shuttle back to the ship. Luckily we made it back in time considering we had to take a train and a shuttle bus back to the ship. All of us then went back to the cabin and had a rest before dinner.

That evening I had planned to have a chilled out one. I didn't fancy going to a restaurant so I just went to the buffet by myself and then headed back to the cabin to watch a movie and have an early night. I really enjoyed having a quiet night in to recharge my batteries for the last few days of our holiday.
