The Sunday Topic No.9 Summer

July 20, 2014

I’ve decided that it’s time to start writing The Sunday Topic again as it has been four months since I last wrote one. I had to stop writing this series for that amount of time as it was my exam and coursework deadline period. This is usually a stressful and challenging time of the year and trying to write this post each Sunday to a high quality would of been hard.

These posts take a lot of thought and effort on my behalf in order to produce a post which is up to my standards and one which you would enjoy. There will defiantly be a new The Sunday Topic each Sunday from now on so expect fun, exciting and challenging topics ahead.

The Sunday Topic:

I wanted to start a series that I’m going to be running for the whole year one that’s going to inspire people, make people happy and make them realise how beautiful life actually is!! So each Sunday I’m going to be posting a lifestyle post about something. This could be anything from good topics to dark topics that no one ever really talks about. By doing this I hope to open peoples eyes about how beautiful the world is but also how dark and lonely it can be.

I decided to do this topic this weekend as it’s been amazing weather here in the UK recently. It’s also July which means that schools, colleges & universities have officially broken up for the Summer holidays. Although we have had major thunder & lighteningstorms over the past few days the majority of the last fewweeks have been sunny and really hot. Everyone knows when Summer has began as the weather is constantly gorgeous.

The Good

I’ve always loved the Summer months as we are generally happier in ourselves. This is because the days are longer, many people have a holiday booked and we have more time to spend with our loved ones. I like going on holiday and meeting new people, discovering little treasures and having a fantastic time. Summer is also always a perfect time for a person to discover themselves as there are many opportunities which are free.

The Bad

I guess the only bad thing about Summer is that you can become rather lazy if you choose to lounge around all day. I have to admit these past few weeks I’ve had days where all I do is watch TV and play computer games. You can lose motivation and procrastinate things in order to do nothing. I find that many people believe that they’re going to have the Summer “of their lives” however when it actually comes around to it many people would rather stay inside.

My Summer Plans

This summer I have a few plans lined up such as work, going on holiday and hanging out with friends and family. I also intend to focus on my blog & Youtube and create lots of content which you guys would enjoy reading or watching. I’d like to squeeze in some driving lessons as I’ve yet have one my aim is to possibly take my driving test in September or October. I’d also like to do really well in my new job and save up money for my car insurance which is going really well at the moment. It would also be great to meet up with a couple of bloggers or youtubers to discuss collaborations or just to chill out.

My Summer Advice

The main advice that I have for you guys this Summer is to have fun and take loads of photo. This is because a memory is much better and clearer when you have photos to remind you when you’re older. Also if you are given an opportunity say YES even if you are unsure because you never know it maybe life changing. Also if you’re having a lazy day and one of your friends invites you out GO because it may be a day you’ll never forget!!
