As most of you will know last Monday it was the 24th October which is my blog’s anniversary date. This year my blog turned THREE. I mean what the actual I’ve been blogging for three whole years. It feels like just yesterday I sat down to write my first blog post and only last week I broke the news to my friends & family.
I’ve been super busy these past few weeks which is why I haven’t blogged much or uploaded many videos. Life just got in the way. I hope to blog more frequently after this weekend as I want to use this weekend to help myself get back on my feet. It feels so good to be sitting down and writing up a blog post.
Things I have accomplished in these past 3 years:
– Getting over 200 followers on Bloglovin
– Reaching 10,000 views let alone over 80,000 now
– Working with various companies such as The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas, Dailylook & Cortexica
– Sharing my adoption story to you all
– Encouraging friends to start their own blog or channel
– Challenging myself with weekly or monthly blog series

Some tips I have for bloggers
Go at your own pace – I’ve never really been the type of blogger who has to upload on a certain day at a certain time. Yes it helps with consistency and views in some ways but I find it so much more stressful. I always tend to upload when I have time to properly sit down and write a post.
Although there may seem like you have to rush everything when it comes to blogging or making videos. But at the end of the day it’s your blog or your channel so you should do what you feel.
Never get too big for your boots – It’s always unattractive when a blogger thinks that because they have loads of views or followers they are amazing. I really dislike this and I often unfollow someone if they end up like this. I always admire people who stay humble and down to earth even though they are super successful.
Write what you want to write – Whether it’s about beauty, lifestyle, fashion, food, sex, boyfriends, girlfriends etc…Write what you want because I always believe you should write for yourself and not for anyone else. If you write about something controversial then you’ll always have haters because everyone has an opinion. That alone shouldn’t stop you writing about it. If you feel passionate about something then write or film a video about it.
Do what you feel is right – Blogging is so overrated sometimes and the pressure to have a “good” blog is ridiculous. I’ve always said to myself if I’m happy with my blog in terms of what I write, how it looks and where it’s going then that’s all that matters. If you wake up one day and you have been blogging for 4 years and you feel the time is right to end it then do exactly that.
I’m so thankful for all of the opportunities that I have been given through this and all of the amazing people I have met through it. I can truly say I have made some friends for life from doing this. It’s so nice when your family and friends supports you for doing something that you love doing.
I’m not entirely sure how long I will be doing this for. However I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. The last thing I want to say is if you are thinking of starting a blog then DO IT because it’s the best thing I have ever done. I don’t regret it one bit and I have grown so much as a person because of it.
